On March 1, Brhaddhvani organised "Music for Dance" in Trichy, an event highlighting the intersection of music and dance in Indian classical traditions. The evening began with an interactive workshop led by Dr. Karaikudi S. Subramanian for children and students of music and dance.
The workshop was followed by a Bharatanatyam recital by Ms. Mohana Natarajan, a student of Sri Adyar Lakshman and Smt. Induvadana. She presented a selection of compositions by her guru’s, culminating in a performance of the masterpiece Viribhoni.
We are looking forward to announce more such events soon with the aim of offering platforms for emerging artists and fostering broader engagement with Indian traditional arts.
